How To Run Multiple WhatsApp Accounts On iPhone Without Jailbreak

Want to install 2 instances of WhatsApp on one iPhone without jailbreak? This trick lets you use multiple WhatsApp accounts – each with a different phone number – on a single iPhone, without needing to jailbreak the device.

Here we take you through a step-by-step guide on how to do that in a quick and easy way. We have tested and confirmed that this not only works on iOS 9.0-9.0.2, but on the latest versions as well, including iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2.

Before you proceed on installing second instance of WhatsApp on your iPhone, it is important to note that the process involves trusting a source untrusted by Apple. There might be security risks to this. While we haven’t found any issue with the app in our testing, you might want to proceed at your own risk only.

With that out of the way and now without wasting any further time, let’s get up and running with the second instance of WhatsApp on the same iPhone.

Step 1: Download and install WhatsApp on your iPhone from the iOS App Store the usual way. Activate it using your main phone number. Thats’s it. You’re done installing the first instance of WhatsApp!

Step 2: Now to install second instance, launch the Safari browser on your iPhone.

Step 3: Head over to the following URL: ios.othman.tv.

Step 4: Once there, tap WhatsApp 2.

Step 5: You will now see an orange colored WhatsApp icon, and just below it, a green button. Simply tap that green button to download WhatsApp 2.

Step 6: iOS will now prompt you with a dialogue box asking you if you would want to install the app, or cancel it. Tap Install to begin the download.

You can now exit Safari and wait for WhatsApp 2 to be downloaded and installed.

Step 7:  Once installed, launch the Settings app, navigate to Settings > General > Profile.

Step 8: Here, tap Trust “VNE Software and…” and when prompted to confirm, hit the Trust button.

Step 9: Now launch the secondary WhatsApp installed on your Phone and follow the usual activation process, but this time use your secondary phone number for verification purposes.

Amazon’s Early Black Friday 2016 Alexa-Exclusive Deals Are Now Live

It doesn’t actually feel like it’s been twelve months since last year’s Black Friday deals were rife amongst the Internet. But alas, it has, which means that Amazon’s early Black Friday extravaganza has come back around once again.

That means that the behemoth’s early Black Friday 2016 sales event is in full swing, offering deals and money-saving incentives on a ton of products across all genres. This Smart ‘Apple Mirror’ Is The Biggest Thing To Happen To Mirrors Since Mirror [Video]

Apple is always looking for new markets to enter, and that’s probably best displayed by the countless rumors that are constantly floated around about the different products being worked on deep inside the company’s many offices. That said, maybe there is one product which few companies are working on and is ripe for the cornering of a market; mirrors.

Yes, that’s right, mirrors. Just bear with us here, we were pretty bewildered as well.

Our thinking comes after we spied an interactive mirror which was built to closely resemble iOS 10, making it look like a big, reflective iPad of sorts. The operating system, of which we know little, has been heavily skinned to look like iOS although it does still have some desktop-class tropes that make us think some flavor of Linux lies beneath.

Whatever it is, there’s functionality there with which to play – owners of this mirror would be able to order a Uber, watch movies, browse the web and even send and receive text messages. You’re not going to be using it for work or even play, but if you had a need for sending a quick message whilst getting ready in the morning, this mirror would be perfect for the job.

Design includes the time and date in the upper right hand corner and weather in the top left. All apps can be moved around and placed anywhere on the mirror. After 45 seconds of inactivity the mirror goes to sleep (appears as any ordinary mirror), simply tap anywhere to wake back up and resume use.

Created by designer Rafael Dymek, the ‘Apple Mirror’ looks the part and would certainly not look out of place in any modern, technological home. Don’t expect to be able to buy one any time soon though – we don’t think this will find its way into production. At least not yet, which is sad. Apple please take notice.

Amazon Prime Video Set To Expand Globally To Take On Netflix

It’s not in Amazon’s nature to do anything on a small scale, which is why it has been extremely surprising that Amazon Prime Video has remained something of a deal sweetener used to entice customers into taking annual Amazon Prime subscriptions in order to take advantage of a number of benefits offered to the frequent Amazon shopper.

If you take the opportunity to read between the lines, then it looks as though Amazon’s video service is about to go global in more than 200 countries, placing it on a collision course with the likes of Netflix which launched in 130+ countries back in January this year.

Amazon’s video service already has some great content hosted on it, most of which will easily fill the time of those Prime subscribers looking to find some great and entertaining TV shows and movies to watch.

One upcoming show, which is exclusive to Amazon and will be hosted by ex-Top Gear hosts Richard Hammond, James May, and Jeremy Clarkson, is the highly anticipated The Grand Tour, which catapults the three aforementioned hosts into yet another exciting motoring environment. A “message from the guys”, shared on Twitter, suggests Amazon Video is going huge.

The official Twitter account for the TV show posted the message, containing a video, which confirmed that the show will be available in 200 different countries globally. Given that it’s an exclusive to Amazon Prime Video, we can safely deduce that an expansion is on the cards.

It’s directly a benefit for the show to be available worldwide, but more so that it gives Amazon the chance to gain additional consumer base and start to push the Prime Video service as a standalone offering that can directly compete with other popular streaming platforms and services, such as Netflix. A head-to-head competition between Amazon and Netflix would be extremely appealing.

Based on the shared message, we can safely assume that Amazon Prime Video will be available in over 200 different countries. Netflix, by comparison, now serves approximately 190 countries worldwide. Both platforms invest heavily in the planning and creation of original and engaging content that is exclusive to their own environment, and both have their own connections to industry insiders and publishers that should make for an extremely interesting platform battle.

The Grand Tour, for those that are interested in seeing what the guys get up to after Top Gear, kicks off today on Amazon Prime Video. As for the “message from the guys”, check out the video embedded below.

Amazon Prime Video Set To Expand Globally To Take On Netflix

iOS 10.1.1 / iOS 10.2 Lock Screen Bypass Discovered, Gives Access To Photos, Contacts [Video]

Apple does a pretty stand up job of trying to keep iOS as secure as possible, and when it is made aware of a security hole Apple tends to be fairly quick at not just plugging the gap, but also getting the update out to as many iPhone and iPad owners as possible.

So when we were shown a video of an iPhone running the latest iOS 10.2 being tricked into giving someone access to the Camera Roll and Contacts app all whilst remaining locked, we took notice. The 4 minute video demonstrates how exactly anyone, I repeat, anyone can access your locked iPhone without having to deal with the passcode.

The video shows a locked iPhone running iOS 10.2 and a passcode set, with the video maker then proceeding to access photos, telephone numbers, email addresses and possibly physical addresses within the phone without ever having to enter a PIN, passphrase or other method of authentication. That’s a little scary, to say the least.

As has been the case with these kinds of things in the past, it appears that the loophole in Apple’s latest iOS version can once again be traced back to Siri, as has been the case many times in the past.

In this case it starts by invoking Siri to inquire about who the phone belongs to, “who am I?” to be specific. That done, you can then use any other phone to place a call on the locked phone, and instead of answering the phone simply hit the Message button to reply with.

From that point on it’s a case of creating a custom text reply and then going from there. There’s a fair bit of tapping required in order to get the kinds of results the video shows, and while it seems impossible to launch apps this way, we probably wouldn’t want anyone with access to our iPhones to be able to thumb through the photos saved within it without our permission.

Check the video embedded below and form your own opinion, but there is one sliver of good that came out of all of this regardless – Apple has now been informed of the issue, that by the way works on most iOS versions, including iOS 10.1.1 and iOS 10.2, and is presumably investigating it. Expect a patch to be rolled into iOS sooner rather than later.

A Replacement Galaxy Note 7 Unit Has Exploded On A Southwest Airlines Flight

When things aren’t quite going according to plan, sometimes there’s not a lot you can do other than hold your hands up and take what’s coming to you. The problem Samsung is facing right now though is that it already did that when it recalled each and every Galaxy Note 7 that it had sold due to phone catching fire and exploding because of faulty battery.

Where do you go when things somehow manage to go even further downhill? When the fix you put in place for the initial disaster goes awry?

That’s the exact problem Samsung now faces after the news broke that one of its Galaxy Note 7 caused a fire on a Southwest Airlines airplane, resulting in the crew and passengers having to be evacuated. While that would normally be bad news, what makes this a real catastrophe for Samsung is that the Galaxy Note 7 in question wasn’t an original shipping handset. It was one that had been shipped out as a replacement phone. A handset that was supposed to be good to go. One that shouldn’t be causing fires.

But a fire it did indeed cause. And now all bets are off.

Initially it was believed that the phone in question was indeed one of the original batch, but after The Verge got hold of the handset’s owner, a photograph of the box in which it was sold confirmed that it was part of the second wave of fixed devices as denoted by the black square icon on the box’s label. Someone inside Samsung is going to be very, very worried right now.

Speaking to publication, Brian Green said that he noticed a “thick grey-green angry smoke” coming from the phone before it set about burning the cabin’s carpet.

The phone is now in the hands of the local fire department and we have little doubt Samsung will also want to have a look at it. As for Mr Green, he says he’s already replaced the handset with what could possibly be the worst part of the whole story for Samsung; an iPhone 7.

As far as public relations are concerned, things don’t get much worse. Thankfully, nobody was hurt.
